Half of my motherboard died ?!

1st time I get this issue, nothing realy fancy going on, I change my tim on my cpu, put my cpu block back in, no more display......
try onboard display, it works
try another gpu, does not work
so I end up using onboard, just to realise the audio out is dead....along with apparently 2 of my pci-e slots.......

ASRock Extreme4
2500k
gtx570
Corsair 1866 vengeave ram

Has anyone ever gotten a similar issue?

I've seen some weird issues with pcie slots not working that ended up being caused by some slightly bent cpu pins. Since this started after you worked on the cpu, worth a shot to take a look. Look carefully :thumb:

my pins are on the mobo and not the processor........ugh kinda wish I had an amd platform for once

Holy shit you rock! Audio is still dead but the GTX570 is back online!
Mad props!

Yep, well I meant the cpu socket pins :P
Great glad it worked for you!

Try reinstalling the driver?

I ended up using a Xonar DG that I had from an older build, thank god it never sold!
