Hey I see on newegg.com has the new i7 2700K

its the same technology as 2600K, maybe it will clock to 5.0 ghz easier with lower volts?

Very nice, curious to see if they have a better top end on average. I highly doubt it

Cant really compare to previous gen because these chips have a mhz cap and binning doesnt take that into consideration. E8600 would clock better at the top end than an E8400. 2700k is just a 100Mhz higher bin at stock volts but you have as good a chance to get a high top end with a 2600k IMO.
