My guess is that if the "lesser" Bulldozer CPUs are to be compared to the actual 8-cores ones, and based on the fact that often the 1090T and 1100T are better in gaming than the 8-core Bulldozer,
the 'Ol 1090T for $175 might be still as good as the hex-core bulldoze...

Has nothing to do if they want to do the review, has everything to do if AMD lets them.

You can bet with the way the Initial BD launch went Terry, they aren't going to be keen for round 2.

I ask cause i know I believe sky & a few others on here do reviews based on there own purchased or aquired by other means/methods.

I also mention it cause i see the other parts (cept the 95 watt 8520) out there @ ncix & such. So just wondered if any of the other reviewers on the site are gonna bother to check out the other models. I know i would, but .. i won't go there.

thanks for the responce ST.

The FX 4xxx and 6xxx chips have always been my main interest so it would be nice to see some actual reviews and performance data on the other chips in the new line up, not the speculated stuff we have seen. I honestly don't expect miralces out of the rest of the line up, just want to see the hard data.

Here is a thread I started a little while ago that has some links for reviews as well as some info from SKYMTL about why there hasn't been any reviews yet.

All bulldozer processors reviewed (8150/8120/6100/4100)

To my knowledge Terry, that happens very rarely. I know SKY did it once for a VC review because HIS messed something up good.
IT gets expensive rather quickly.

Just a update on this thread briefly for anyone following it:

OCN forum threads sugest that 8120's i asume of the 125w variety are on stock voltages reaching around 4.5-4.6 ghz @ around 1.4xv's on sealed water (H100) or 4.2-4.4 ghz on air. Boards being used by the 2 main peaple in the thread are the top end MSI 990FX GD80 & Gigabyte 990FX UD3 models.

One user in the thread i am quoting from even sugests a 4.4-4.6 ghz clocked 8120/8150 preforms on par with a tweaked out Phenom II X6 1100T @ 4.2 ghz w/ 3 ghz nb.

One user on ncix has purchased a 6100 & stated he has been able to move the chip to 4 ghz on air @ stock voltages with ease.

Apparently alot of better results are occuring on non Asus boards as well ... which has lead some to believe that is a problem with the asus am3+ boards ... more specificaly the crosshair v's.
