Default Advice: HSF Freezer 7 Pro, not 64? Ooops...

Salut!

I just bought a HSF Artic Freezer 7 PRO from NCIX by mistake, it was meant to be a a Freezer 64 PRO (for a socket am2+ cpu). My problem now is, I could create a rma for a refund and ship it back to them while buying the right one but at the end, all that shipping back and forth will add on my budget, not talking about the time spent (I have all here to build a new system, just missing the hsf).

Is there any good computer store in Montreal/Laval where I could buy one? The only one I know around here is microbytes and they don't work with this brand.

Thanks

Hmmm... I really need to pay more attention. :P

Microbytes DO work with this brand, they only have one item though and that's exactly the 64 PRO but at much higher price though.

Just found out at NCIX that this hsf is not refundable. :\

My question about agood hardware store in Montreal is still up.

Thanks

I used to work at Microbytes lol. For a couple years on and off actually. But yeah, they do carry that brand so you could grab one if need be. The only other decent computer parts store in the montreal area (that I know of) is the Frosty's in the Indian reservation (pay no tax!!) but thats over bridge and far away...

Then again... after a quick check of their website I can't seem to find any aftermarket HSF's..... Best to call them and ask I guess then. If not, get the one from microbytes or a different one. Sorry I cant be much more help than that.

PS: Yes, I really did work at MB.
