yeah colors are way off-Personally I like my motherboards like my women-strong and .......

The DQ6 is a great board, and the DS3 has really opened things up for the more budget conscious.

hmm, well - - one Quad less to be exact... my Q6600 on the DS3L didn't like being clocked at 4.3GHz (477FSB)... it won't hold 3.0GHz anymore. Still trying to find out if the CPU or the board were damaged. Ram's fine (the HPs are stable at 525 5-4-4-8 2.2V) and the PSU was tested on the P965-DS3...

Ouch!!!!!!

Does HWbot accept damage claims???? :)

What kind of Vcore were you throwing at it to get the 4.3G? I tried as high as 1.7 when I was trying to push above 4.1, but it didn't do anything so I throttled back to 1.65.

Really gotta do the extreme cooling to get these things up that high, and unfortunately there's always the chance that something will fry.

Is it at least stable at stock?

Unfortunately, hwbot declined any property damage and responsability on the loss of the Quad.... yeah, it's stable at stock, still trying to find out why it won't go higher than 3.0.

Vcore? 1.8V.... Temps were fine, though: 71C under load.

I need to swap components to convince myself of the culprit - install the Quad on the DS3, and try the E6400 on the DS3L, and use my old Antec 500W on it too since though I said that the PSU was fine, I've been getting some weird readings in the DS3L BIOS...

11.89V at stock, no load...

Wow did I ever get lucky on that one. Thanks again SSWilson, went back to NCIX today to print out the MIT as you suggested and guess what. SALE OVER, but MIT still there. However, anyone who missed the sale on the weekend will now be paying,
