Default e8400 issues

Can someone stress their 8400 and check what their cpu temps do.

I just noticed with mine that the "core" temps go up but the CPU temp is frozen or doesn't move from 29 degrees.

What program are you uses? Try testing it with coretemp if your not using that program already.

Everest.

Coretemp only monitors the "cores" which I can see move.

Did you try HWMonitor?

Yes thats what is showing its not moving as well as Everest :)

I know, but these chips are supposedly riddled with bugged sensors and looks like mine was one of them :D
