Default Which z68 motherboard is best?

Which one should i go for Asrock z68 extreme 4 or asus maximus iv gene-z or asus p8z68-v pro if im unable to get asrock z68 extreme 4 or wait for asrock z68 extreme 4?

i would look first at how that company supports its users with their products.

then buy the product they make.

having said that, i would go perhaps for the sabertooth from asus or the ud4 from giga..:)

Here at work we have been getting the Asus P8Z68-V Pro and so far they have been rock solid and give all the options and more in the bios that we need. I believe we have gotten about 15-20 so far.

@dangtx but sabertooth is for p67 hmm, well as per tomshardware asrock z68 extreme 4 seems to be good , i would go for z68 extreme 4 but i am not happend to find this, probably i would go for p8z68-v pro.

This is the board that will be replacing my P8P67 Pro. Great balance between price and features IMO.

I think the Gigabyte z68x ud3h b3 is a good candidate too. Not as high end or expensive as other boards but its got pretty much the same features unless I'm mistaken

Is Asrock z68 extreme4 good? I have seen so many complaints about it. I wouldve gone for Asus p8z68-v pro but only thing is stopping me from buying is the pci-e lanes. Asrock has the PLX chip and asus doesn't .

How many lanes are you looking for? dual 8x lanes on the asus is plenty for dual cards.
