My System Specs

My friend called me today and told me he turned off my CPU Fan/heatsink three days ago and ive running for three days without the fan. What should i do...Beside killing him?

Uhmm did you check to see if it was off?

No computer will run for 3 days without the CPU fan.. Too many things in place as security measures

See if what was off ive been gaming on a casual basis for three days and when he told me that i checked and it was off.

There is no way to turn off a CPU fan without physically unplugging it, open up your case and plug it back in.

1. Ask your friend why he did it,
2. Then take out your frustrations on your friend

If ur computer still runs ..plug it in and curse your friend for making it run warmer ..it it doesn't .....kill him

Guys if he is gaming and the fan wasn't running less than 5 minutes running that machine it would shut down to due heat or thermals.

There is no way it'll run for 3 days without a fan.

laugh at his joke?

stock cooling will not be able to make it thru a day, even with heavy throttling on the cpu.

now if you have a nice hr-02 or the like and the fan is not working? ok.

I didst look at the op stats..but I also don't see his cooling there when I did maybe he is hr_02

make the computer was alright being passively cooled, you never know.
