Default Help with bios hot flash

I have a curropted bios on an Abit KT7A-Raid,

i wanted to hotflash it with a Asus A7Pro . both mobo use socket A cpu, pc133 ram and KT133 chipset (KT133A for the abit).

the asus board refuse to flash my bios on the abit bios chip when i hot swap them.

since im not sure if my bios chip is good or not, i will back up the original bios on the a7pro bios chip and flahs it with the abit bios to test my abit board.

but the asus bios is a .awd and the abit is a .bin how can i programm the flash rom with a .awd on an eeprom programmer??

whats the diffrence between the tow. both asus and abit are award bios but one is .awd and th eother .bin ....

just wanted to clear a few thing up before messing with the asus bios and having 2 non posting board
