Default 780i LT?

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...anufacture=XFX

I'm looking to pick up either the xfx or evga 780i, and the price difference is about $3.00 so the price isn't going to change my mind. What may is that the xfx is listed as using a 780i LT chipset on ncix. This confuses me a bit as it's the only place I have found that mentions a 780i LT even being in production. Is this just going to be a misprint or is it worth going with the evga?

Thanks,
Lyxtwing

Probably a misprint.

If you have no plans on multiple video cards, then the P35 is a better choice for chipsets for Intel overclocking.

I am considering using two video cards as I have in the past with great results. My P5N board has given me a great deal of trouble, but I may look into a P35.

Side question; I have four 1gig sticks of OCZ ddr2 RAM with SLI ready EPP. Will this RAM work fine in a P35 board (the RAM, not the EPP)?

Uh you can NOT run SLI with a P35 chipset.... It is Intel Crossfire only, NOT nvidia SLI.

I know, I am asking about the RAM not the video cards. If I use SLI I will be getting a 780i.

Oh, I see sorry. Yeah, the RAM will work, it just wont use the SLI settings, which are kinda pointless anyway, as you can set the settings manually.
