Motherboard for unraid server

I'm stuck between using a GMA880 Board because there's quite a few modifications you need to make to it to make it work well with unraid such as pre clearing the hard drives on a motherboard slot and then once it's pre cleared to connect it to your sata card. So I've been wondering should I stick with the 880 board (which means the connect to mobo to pre clear and down grading the bios of the mobo and the sata cards) Or should I go full out and get a super micro server board?

^ Is the super micro board I've been looking at lately and this one

What should I pick?

Sounds like there are too many concessions to deal with regarding unraid

It's pretty simple, the problem is basically file servers and the 880 chipset. The reason I'm going with unraid is cause I can mix hard drives around and don't need hella powerful system specs like I would need for raidz.

Anybody else have any comments :( This is a hard choice for me.
