I haven't run into any performance issues with the 2 8x PCI-E lanes on my Blitz Extreme. For cards like the HD3870 or even the 8800GTS-512MB, the bandwidth which an 8x interface provides to dual GPUs is more the sufficient. That is also why ATI is only allowing their HD3870 X2 to be used in Crossfire with boards which provide a 16 / 16 setup.

And yes, we will see about getting AkG a different GPU for his future mobo reviews. I know I have an 8600GT kicking around here somewhere.....
