Default Any Bulldozer news yet?

So I'm kind of waiting for Bulldozer to come out to build a new gamer - I just want to try AMD again for once - just for the giggles. I helped a buddy put together his 1090T just recently, and that was silky smooth. I'd go 1090T myself but Bulldozer is supposedly like 40% faster, so if I can ....just....wait....it ....out....then BD it is.
Anybody hear anything about ship dates yet?

They say Q2 (April, May, June) timeframe...

AMD is SLOW on leaking benchmarks...I guess they have a lot on the plate with the HD6990 launch, and the whole LLANO, ZACATE and all that small APU stuff...

The last rumor is this:

Bulldozer has chipset issues

i have NO IDEA if this is right or not...FUD doesn't get a lot of positive attention i guess

Like SKY mentioned, it's just one of the rumor that came out when people realised that there wasn't any Bulldozer stuff at CeBIT...

I'm waiting for Bulldozer numbers to make a decision!

The fact that AMD isn't leaking benchmark yet is a good thing. If BD is really fast and great and AMD leak proof, it could hurt badly their current line-up...

Really pulling for Bulldozer myself. Would love to see the AMD guys get some great smp/bigadv folding numbers.

Not that it is likely but I would love to see full SSD support and SLI support.
BD would be ideal for me in that case.

Here is to hoping, I do enjoy my 1090T build but I would like something from AMD to be overpowering and make me drop my Main rig for a change.

Yeah, I'm hoping for a proper 8 core cpu that isn't an FX branded part (or at least, not priced like an FX part).

I'm in the same boat... going to wait and see what BD has to offer, and then decide between it and whatever flavour of SB is current. (Might even find some deals on older SB stock by that time.... ;) ).

I don't think BD have HT, so that means 8 real cores.
