there a good company, when I lived in Calgary thats where I bought all my stuff. The one on the NE side good people there.
They can order the coolmaster 690 case for you if you want one. If you go on there site and print what you want, it speeds things up for you.
I do not know if you seen this before but here is a list of stores in AB

I would make 2 changes: if possible, wait for the new Quad generation coming up very shortly. Then the ram you have chosen would be fine. If you wish to keep the Q6600 (very good choice), I would change the ram to those: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...Z%20Technology or something similar. No point in having 1066 speed with a Q6600.

Also you're missing a vital part: a fan (or 2 for push-pull config) for the HSF. I've never used one, but I know that some fans are better than others on the TRUE-120.

Why not?

I'm currently running my 4G of Ballistix @ 1055 which while it doesn't hit the 1066 still gives me a lot of room to move up if required. (needs a weekend worth of work to get it up to the next step of 1200+... :) ).

Current "sale" pricing on good PC2 8500 mem means that anybody can afford to pick up a really good set of mem rather than worrying about whether or not their DDR2 800 is holding back their OC.

I wrote so since the OP did not state any overclocking. And that 6400 Ram is way cheaper than 8500 - he could save a few more bucks. But I agree that if oc'ing is an option, then PC2-8500 is a almost a must with the price drops.

1 x ANTEC - Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case ( $109.95 )
Replace with CM690

Quote:
1 x Zalman - CNPS9500 LED Ultra Quiet CPU Cooler ( $69.95 )
Replace with Scythe Ninja or Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme

Quote:
1 x XFX - nForce 680i SLI w/ DualDDR2 1200, 7.1 Audio, Dual GB Lan, 1394, Dual PCI-E x16 SLI ( $219.95 )
Avoid 680i mobos. I would go with X38 or P35.

Quote:
1 x LG - Super Multi Security DVD Writer 20x20x12x, SATA w/ Lightscribe, Black (OEM) ( $42.95 )
Do you really need a DVD writer and a DVD reader? Persoanlly I would go with a single Pioneer (non-lightscribe) wirter.

1 x OCZ - 850W GameXStream Power Supply w/ Quad +12V ( $179.95 )
Replace with Corsair TX750W

- GeForce 8800 GT 512MB PCI-E Alpha Dog Edition w/ Dual DVI, HDTV-Out ( $539.90 )
Waste of money. SERIOUS waste of money. Either get a single 8800GTS 512MB or wait a week (or two) for the new ATI RV680 card.

Also dont waste your money at Memory Express! Get your stuff from either DC ir NCIX, I live outside Edmonton and hate dealing with the stores here, they know nothing and always have such attitudes! and the pricing is always a little more

With dealing with DC i have always had a great exp with them and the prices rock

just my $0.02

Nice specs. I would swap out the Antec Nine Hundred for the Antec P182. The Nine Hundred never really got great reviews, and the P182 is quieter and a better design, IMO. And to make better use of the P182's ability to hide cables, grab that Corsair 620HX modular PSU. They don't get much better than those Corsairs for quality.

Like I said, I have the 900, and its nice, but has problems, and I got mine for $50...

I wouldn't bother with any dual card setups at the moment, SLI sux, Crossfire is way better, but only AMD offers chipsets that offer 2 REAL x16 slots, the p35 boards have 2 physical slots, but if you crossfire on them it is either one x16 and one x4, or two x8's. The oter side of it is that you spend all that money to be bleeding edge and new cards come out 3 months later and then you gotta buy 2 more and so on... Cheaper to buy one better card than 2 middle of the pack cards.

And SKYMTL just copied and pasted my answer, prettied it up, and claimed it as his own

j/k

My System Specs

Default Looks good

But if you do go for the Asus P5K P35 make sure its one of the P5K-E series. They have a higher quality PCB and OC very well.
