Ok, I just got my new computer up and running. I am trying to check temps to make sure everything is fine, so I installed the Easy Tune, software.

Bios says, CPU - 38 Degrees C, System temp - 43 degrees C

Easy Tune says, CPU - 29 degrees C, System Temp, 43 degrees C

Which one holds more truth? and are these temps fine?

ps, cpu is E6750 with Stock HSF

Do not trust Easytune. Use Coretemp instead. And the 38C temp is about right for a stock HSF.

Keep in mind that bios temps are under a partial load as well. I don't remember the exact figure, but 30-40% load seems stuck in my mind for some reason.

This is a great overclocking board. I used one in a budget gaming rig for a 17yr old kid. He's an overclocking newbie, but after a few days he managed to get his E6750 up to 3.6ghz. With a Galaxy 8800GT Overclocked his 3dmark06 scores are around 13,850.
