Wow nice looking boards, im glad they don't have those pastel looking colours any more. I wonder how well they perform though?

I hate the new colour scheme. I will admit that the UD7 has a great layout but the gold accents make me want to puke.

So the P67 supports the 1155 socket & P68 would then be the 2011 socket? Looking at early prices leaked/sold around the web the price of the 1155 CPUs is on par right now to the 1366, going by that we should expect the 2011 CPUs to be quite pricey :(

Only the K CPU's are really all that high. And they are pretty comparable in price to the i7 875k.

LOL, i always laught when you write that the UD4 is 'mainstream' at 200$CAD-220$CAD it's not mainstream but it's definitly gamer.

I own a UD4P from 1156, i overclock everything (my I5 to 4ghz) and i never, ever needed to check volt point. Integrated Power button could have been of use 1 or 2 times tought. Once i've made my oc stable i never played with it :)

Great article BTW

UD4 isn't supposed to be priced above $200 CAD. Should come in at $155 - $175 when all the price gouging is done. In the mobo market, that's considered mainstream.

Im kinda lol'ing that Intel users will yet again be paying to change sockets in the near future.

I expect to see a huge influx of all the "old" stuff on the FS threads any day now, then I'll be laughing just a little more
