Nice review MAC!
I love MAC's last comment on the review....

"At LEAST UNTIL JANUARY"....lol I'm curious. I'll be watching.

My Q9550 @ 3.8GHz still delivers, so I can't really complain (single GFX card, gaming only)...can't find a reason for a full platform swap yet.

AMD, please impress me with the BULLDOZER benchies when they come out!!!!

Great review as usual!

I have to agree. My Q9550 @ 3.6 (without even trying and there is lots of room left, 1.21V core) is still in the middle of the pack and probably beats out the 1100T (when at stock speeds) most of the time. I am going to wait for the next generation before I consider upgrading (same as with my video card 4890 XXX edition, no need to upgrade yet).

Add in the fact that non-BE can be overclocked to 4Ghz speeds as well and this makes the current BE CPUs a waste.

It's a nice CPU but nothing special compare to what's available right know. Just a small pump in Mhz but than again we see this quite often so it's part of the game. Nothing wrong with that.
