Hey guys

i couldnt seem to find much on the MSI 870A Fuzion on the forums here

what do you guys think about the board and the lucid hydra chips? basicly looking for a half decent(cheap) am3 board that i can use with my X4 cpu and nvidia cards i have laying around that would work in my folding machine, and would be OC friendly

any thought's or comments?

well,sir. may i sugest getting a nice giga board instead? the hydra chip is..well..bad. or drivers, rather.

anyone tried the new sli patch yet?

yeah my current MB is a bit too old for my x4, it works well but wasn't designed for quads, its limiting the cpu, so i need to change it, and get some ram for it too.

been looking at the ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3, Gigabyte GA-890XA-UD3 or 890GPA-UD3H 890GX, both around 150/140$ atm or going for a cheaper 100$ range board and some ram,

no love for the 870a from giga? checks sky's review. killer board. and it came on top of the round up.

forgot to mention that was my 100$ board ;) dint do much research on that particular board but saw it for 100$, i might need to consider it a little more.

what Ram is best for the GA-870A-UD3?

Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 4GB (2 x 2GB) CL9 Ram work well with the MB?
