Words of wisdom; many other things play a role the overall experience.

In the next few months I hope to pick up a ~24 monitor or a 32 TV and run a TV receiver in the pc.

I need to retire the rear projection TV that takes up 1/5 of my bedroom

Those things actually are a must if you spend more than 2hrs a day on a pc.
