S775 for my Q8300...

My Asus P5 has given up and I'm thinking of getting the MSI P45 Neo2 for about 60$.
Is this the right choice? Any better suggestions?
I plan to overclock the Q8300 from 2.5 to 3.0 - 3.3GHZ.

Thanks! :)

It should be an alright board if you're looking for something cheap. There are definitely better P45 boards out there, but you're unlikely to find one for a lower price.

Which one would you recommend?
It needs to be highly overclockable...

try to look for giga or asus, msi wasnt exactly back with their good boards back then :)

still, i like the layout a bit :)

You're right, but I'm looking forward to add another 5850, and that's the only one I can get for a such a price
Now days I think It's a bit silly paying more than 100$ on a s775 mobo... I just need something till AMD will get their Bulldozer launched
which I plan to upgrade to.

If you want something overclockable, look for an ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo or a Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P. The ASUS Maximus II Formula would be my top choice for an LGA775 overclocking board, but you're unlikely to find one, especially for under $100.

@Zero82z
The P5Q Pro Turbo does looks good for what I need, thanks! :)
