Penyrn lga771 question

I was doing some research,(since i have so much time on my hands recently) and i noticed that the 45 nm cpus (penryn) had their own selection of coolers. What first came to mind was

Dont lga775 coolers fit on the lga771? or are we going to have to select 1 of the 3 coolers at ncix at this time.

Secondly,since they can overclock so high on stock voltages, do they even require a strong cooler? wouldn't the stock (or at least a cheap cooler) cool it just fine?

just curious, to here some answers. Couldn't find any on google, probably because im useless.
