My System Specs

Default CPU Grease

Hey guys...sorry..having a "Bob Zone" morning....

Remember about ...what...year and a bit ago a bunch of us Members recieved a new Tube of thermal paste to try out?
What was the name of it again ....I remember the word "Diamond" I think.....I used a pea size dab in the middle of my 920....and had to let it sit in some hot water for awhile to loosen it up a bit. the tube prior to installation)

Would my tube of this stuff still be alright? I remember I had good temp results with it right off the bat..

Just curious as I'm going to be installing my 980X soon and wondering if I would be better of getting some MX3....or stick to this other stuff I have (name?)

Thanks Members ;)

IC Diamond (innovation cooling)

IC7, or IC24 depending on size of tube.. It's good stuff, and yes, it'll be fine

look at it, if it starts powdering, leaking or anything in between, off to the recyclers.

I still use good ol AS5. I go thru so much thermal paste that I find that diamond stuff to be waaay overpriced. Plus you have to use 3x as much of it.
