Default Replace or renew?

My motherboard recently died (doesn't POST) and I am now faced with the choice of replacing the motherboard or getting the mobo/cpu/memory.

I have an Intel QX6700 Extreme processor and 4gb OCZ PC2 8500 DDR2 RAM, and the motherboard was an ASUS P5N32E-SLI.

The system is watercooled with a swiftech system (H2O 120 I think) and I am also watercooling the ASUS 8800 GTX graphics card.

What do you think my best option is to do?

TIA

Martin

eh if you can find a used s775 mobo - I'd keep what you got until the new generation of Intel and AMD chips are available.

Thanks. I'll check out both options.

I found a used Asus P5G43T-M PRO for $50. Is this any good? Also, this is a microATX. Would it fit OK in my Antec 300 case and would there be room for the watercooling as it's a micro formfactor mobo?

Thanks again,

Martin

Ah. thanks for pointing that out.

I think I'll invest in a the Asus P5Q Turbo - used motherboards seem quite hard to find, and I think I'd prefer some sort of warranty (given my previous experiences with motherboards).

Thanks for the assistance,

Martin
