Default AMD Phenom II 955 Temperatures

So I never really understood how AMD Phenom temperatures work as I hear that they're like 15C higher than the reading. This is what HWmonitor is giving me on a Cooler Master Hyper 212+. From my knowledge, AMD uses the Tcase temperature readings and not Tjunction or core temperatures.

TMPIN: 39C
TMPIN1: 62C
TMPIN2: 81C (dunno what it's for. Probably just a bad sensor. It's on google.
Core temperatures: 59C for all cores

Does these temperatures look fine?

Is your 955 C3 or C3?If its C3 59C looks bad since u are very close to max safe temps

I use EVEREST for monitoring temps and they give the most accurate readings.

Idle temperatures mean nothing.

what clock are you running at?

I have a c3 955be running the same cooler as you and i'm running 44c at full load running prime95 at 3.8ghz 1.38vcore. 59c seems really really high to me but I dont know if thats the difference between c2 and c3.

59 C is too high for that CPU. IIRC, the max safe temp is 62 C.

How much thermal paste did you use when you mounted the cooler?

Tcase max is 62 so if you're at 59 and stable it's fine. Hell, you might be able to OC it a little more too.
