My System Specs

Default Weird problem

Any game I play crashes after 5 min or 2 hours. I need to reboot get back video driver. I have tried both my 260gtx and Sapphire 5870 with same result. I always go driver sweeps when installing video drivers. MEM test after 3 hours was ok. Vid card and cpu bench stable. I have also tried diff drivers for my Forte card. Could problem be power supply or motherboard ? thx

Specs:

Phenom II 940@ 3.5ghz
MSI K9N2-SLI PLATINUM
Corsair xms2 4 gigs
Sapphire 5870
Auzentech Forte
Corsais 620hx
7 fans and that big ass noctua cpu cooler

Ok so my pc hung again and I checked event viewer and got this

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor ID: 3

The details view of this entry contains further information.

Cpu problem ?

I remember seeing this error 6 months ago on my pc but those messages went away in event viewer.

Will test Everest

NB and/or mem voltages would be my first guess for a random issue like this.

After tweaking voltage of cpu it seems ok for now. Weird how Prime was stable during test before.

thanks for replies
