Are you downclocking the other settings when you bump up the FSB (NB / HT / Memory)?
i am talking about stock cpu, if i try o/c unlocked the problems worsen
i only set ram at 1066, do not touch nb/ht...

Here's were you need to start looking.... drop the multipliers for NB / HT / memory down a level. Those are going up as you raise FSB and I suspect you're pushing them beyond stable speeds.

That said.... I'm not sure what FSB levels folks have had luck with as I've been using unlocked PH IIs so FSB has been fairly low on my OC'd rigs.

Sorry for delayed reply... it was F2 BIOS.

The OCZ that you have doesn't play well with Gigabyte motherboards. A buddy of mine ended up RMAing his set as well. I can't remember if he exchanged for another set that works at 1.8V or he kept trying until it worked.

AMD motherboards like high voltage ram. Leave the 1.5V stuff to Intel.

quick question, i am ordering this board to replace my outdated am2+ mb, and i need to get some ram for it. its currently on sale for 96$(free shipping) at newegg.ca :)

would the Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) CL9 1.65v be a good fit for it?

i honestly don't know about your Mushkins but i have this GSkill RAM that's a little cheaper. and OC's pretty well for the price. i got it up to 1600 at the stock 1.5v.

i love this board too. i OC'ed my X4 630 up to 3.5 with the stock 1.344v. i was using the auto-voltage in the BIOS so i don't know if that really counts though

i was also looking at getting the same ram as in the review(its 100$), planing to OC the CPU as much as i can but not soo much for the ram as its not needed as much for folding. also getting a mosfet cooler for the board to make shure i dont run into problems there.

i don't really know much about RAM compatibility so i just posted what i got with the board

for cooling, i got a 120mm fan with a shroud blowing directly onto the MOSFETs but for you i read a lot of guys have these. a little pricey for me though but they work really well.
