You can call RMA and tell them you suspect the memory controller died, get a replacement. Tell them you ran memtest and a bunch of other diagnostics.

But on second thought I don't know if you're still under warranty though.

If you're not I would just sell one of the 9800's and buy a cheap and reliable 775 board that supports your CPU and RAM. The GPU should still have some value (especially to a folder) and used/old 775 boards get pretty cheap.

The P5Q Deluxe should work well for you, my Q9450@3.4GHz has been Folding/Crunching 24/7 for almost two years on a Deluxe with no problems...

Sadly this won't get nice steady linux and repetitive tasks, but that is a good long run!

crap,sorry. forgot youre not from around these parts. out there everything costs more. try to find a used board. or something cheaper with one pci-e, sell one card.
