Default Double Bios Post Screen at start up?

This may sound stupid, but im trying to figure out why Im getting the post screen twice, once initially at start up A quick screen about the raid controller then another Post screen, whats with the double posting, totally kills my boot time.

I havent tried the quick boot option.

its normal... it doesnt post twice, its just the bios checking for hard drives on the raid controller.

if you arent using it, you can disable the raid controller and it will skip that check. this will mean you only see the post screen once, and it should speed up your boot time too.

The RAID controller has its own BIOS, so what you're seeing is that BIOS performing its POST. If you don't want to see it, then like tehpr0fess0r said, you can disable the RAID controller (assuming you aren't using it for anything), and you won't see the message. If on the other hand you are actually using the RAID controller, then there's nothing you can do.
