ayah has the EVGA 3x SLI, which comes with noisy little fan on the NB heatsink. I had one.

You can remove my quote from your Signature as I've received both of my new Fermi Cards.


And yes Zero...he was simply stating that his Mob was not passsive cooling....had that same Mobo when they were first released, I couldn't hear the NB Fan over my 3 280's and a whack of 120mm's....effective though at cooling the NB.......

Yes, his post was poorly worded and I misunderstood. I'm aware that board does have a fan.

I'm planning to build my next computer with this board. Any reason not to? The SATA 6 and USB 3.0 support are attractive.

The FTW3 looks like a nice board.
Jacob showed pics of the new Classified3 yesterday but its not on the website yet.

New EVGA X58 Classified

rj I doubt it'll be much more expensive then the current boards. The FTW3 isn't anyway.
