Default Which 890FX board will you be buying?

Crosshair IV Formula?
Crosshair IV Extreme?
Lower End Asus Models?
Maybe a Gigabyte?

Im leaning towards the MSI 890FX-GD70 right now.

If the MSI is actually in stock (waiting to see some product links show up over at NCIX) it'll be a toss-up between it and the Asus that's showing up as a Manufacturer's SKU. I'm leaning towards the ASUS though as I'd like to try out that platform rather than getting what would more than likely be a clone to my current 790FX-GD70.

I think you meant to write "Crosshair" rather than "Maximus"

I've been considering upgrading from a Q6600 to an X6... but I've wanted to see what Gigabyte offers in the way of the 890FX boards. I've liked all the Gigabyte's I've dealt with in the past.

If I was to buy a Phenom II X6, it would be on a Crosshair IV Extreme. Big bad processor on a big bad motherboard I would probably use that new G.Skill Ram aswell.

I'll definitely be getting one of the Crosshair IV's for sure. Those things look bad-ass!

I _was_ also leaning towards the MSI. But after reading the reviews of the Asus Crosshair Formula and the MSI @ BitTech... I'm pretty sure, that the MSI won't receive that much attention. Don't get me wrong: I'm pretty sure, that MSI will fix their USB problems - but I'm pretty disappointed with the overall performance of the mainboard.

Has anyone spotted any Gigabyte review 'til now? Is HardwareCanucks preparing a review like "Asus vs Gigabyte"? ;)

I am already using an Asus GX but if not I'd have gotten the Crossair Formula.

I have ordered the Crosshair IV Formula from NewEgg along with the 1090T. I just recieved my 965BE and ASUS M4A89GTD PRO 890GX board from NCIX. But I'm sending both back in favour of the 6 Core and the sweet lookin' Crosshair board.
