Looks pretty sweet, 5 PCIE slots! Match that up with an X6 1090T and you could play some sweet folding music!

That looks real nice, I'm definately leaning towards an AMD build if the 1090T's turn out to be as good as I'm hoping.

AFAIK, this is still pretty well the same PII platform so don't get your hopes too high or you will probably be disapointed. Most certainly don't expect an i5 killer.

I'm expecting it to perform on par/slightly better than a 6 core Q6600 clock for clock.

I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but judging from some of the pre-release overclocking numbers with the 1055T hitting 4.3GHz (on air I believe), I'd hope that the 1090T can hit 4.5Ghz/4.6GHz+ (with WC). I'm definately going to wait to see some more comprehensive benchmarks before I jump into anything though.

Back on topic, those 5 PCI-E16 are very nice. Combined with a 1055T/1090T and some nice PPD/KWH cards, you could have quite the nice folding rig. I'm curious how much the 890FX-G70 will run, since if I remember correctly it has 6 PCI-E16 slots.
