Out of Curiousity were you afraid that it wouldn't?

I've found AMD to be a real lifesaver when it comes to reviving old builds. Most GB boards that I come across keep getting a new BIOS update to handle the latest and greatest. So long as you don't exceed the W rating on the power delivery you're set.

Good to see it up and running.

I was hoping for it to work so i could test my brother's 720BE out and see if it was faulty.

Its nice that it worked, but your HT link got shafted. Still it will give some nice improvements over the AMD 5200.

I don't quite understand what you meant by faulty.

I posted in the Troubleshoot question that my brother's computer kept on crashing on load. Now i know that it isn't the processor problem but motherboard problem.

Also, now i know what i can upgrade my processor to :)
