AMD X2 555 BE unlocked to 4 cores

arnt they c3 chips?
i remember reading about when they starting making c3 955 x4's ( or was 950 or 945) that these were just the damaged ones as well.
and they were happy to have the first c3 dual core with an unlocked multi from the deneb processor family.

Your right, looks like 555 guarantees C3, 550 could be either. I'm guessing anything in the last few months is probably C3, unless theres old stock somewhere.

yea,, i have a 550, which wont unlock. but meh i'll live right now.. it's running at 3.922 and wont go any higher.
the 555's being c3's will probably go a few hundred mhzs higher from what iv read and it wouldnt surprise me if most unlocked.
im sure they have figured out how to not made crappy procs by now :P
