got a new BIOS today, looks to have cleaned up some 32M SPi performance issues...these guys are working hard to get this BIOS ready for release.

colder is somtimes better He found cold bug at -85 and second at -123 c says at end off article that cold is good fore th 980x read at the end in conclusion area. (not same board Gigibits) MADSHRIMPS - Hardware Reviews ,Crazy Projects, Modding Tutorials and Overclocking

sorry, my hydro doesn't get used on folding.

but it does get used on running 32M. another BIOS and even better 32M performance plus a few more things cleaned up. this board is really getting close to retail i believe

Wow, I think I'm looking at my next motherboard when I finally get around to upgrade to i7.
Glad Asus was able to do a 4 PCI-E slot setup without an NF200 bridge, even if its only 8x/8x/8x/8x.
I'm not a big fan of those molex power connectors though. Hopefully they are optional in setups with less than three graphics cards.
Full review soon mayhaps?

Considering the original asking price for the Rampage II Extreme was well above $400, highly unlikely.....
