^^^^ Nice....I'll be picking one up for $1049....curious though, I don't plan WC right away, anyone know Load Temps with a decent Air Cooler (TRUE push / pull) @ around 4 - 4.2 Ghz (say 1.42v)...?

Sky....your Review stated Temps (Air) with Stock Cooler vs TRUE...do you have any Temp data with CPU OC's applied...same Coolers (TRUE is what 'm interested in) and was your TRUE set up in push / pull or 1 Fan?

Appreciated...

Hey,

It's actually my review. Honestly, it's been so long that I don't remember

I'm embarassed to admit it, but I actually haven't played with the 980X since this review (), so I'm not familiar with the temps anymore.

I think I was in the mid-to-high 70C's with one 1600RPM 67CFM fan.

You could always bring it over here; I'll play with it and tell you all about it...

Smile CPUs and Motherboards

I got my hand on an ES with a base clock of 2.4 Ghz. It shows up as an EE but doesn't give a number. I'm running it at 3.33 and have had it as high as 4 ghz. I never tried stability tests as it showed only 4 of 12 threads working. Perhaps if I had slightly better cooling for my cpu it would go higher, though the temps are still amazingly cool. Also, I'm a beginner at ocing. So far it works great!

I like your posts from away
You always have a pair of goodies awaiting your arrival and your wife is the one who lovingly places them in your office every time.
