Default I just dumped by ASRock 4Core DualVSTA

Hello all, the bridge fell down and I made it to the other side. I had the opportunity to upgrade my motherboard from the Rock I was using as a bridge board and went with the Asus P5N-E SLI based on the i650 nForce chipset. So far, I'm damned impressed with the results.

3D Mark03 went 9k to 16k
3D Mark05 went from 7241 to 8k
Aquamark3 went from 67k to 80k

All my games are now running slick now wait until I add an 8800GT.

Cheers.

pretty good bang for the buck, I'd say- are you glad you followed that upgrade path?

Absolutely, I only spent 75 bucks on the Rock and I got about 4 months out of it. I'm going to keep it as a back up in case anything goes wrong.

One month in and I haven't had a single problem. I'm adding in an E6750 this weekend and that should boost things even more. I'll wait til after the new year to upgrade my Video Card.

Nice results. I have a quad on the "Rock" and I am waiting (patiently so far) for my 8800GT. Once I have that I will get the BloodIron (or something) then I will be good for a while. (ya right)
