O I am sure they are. But chances are it is still a long ways off. Think Q3 - Q4 2010 at the earliest.

gingerbee January 25, 2010 09:15 AM

i am does not mean i can't hope for newer chip-set sooner. if they come out with one this summer i will buy some new board/s. there enough hand me down's to go down to people house/family/friends that it's no big deal or just sell:biggrin:

I ask this question because I'm looking for a board for my 920 , that will arrive today...and no one attract me... so I said may be I can buy the cheapest one and wait for a new chipset.

Actually, I wouldn't be so sure that there's a new chipset coming out. Intel doesn't have any listed on their roadmaps, for this generation at least. If anything, they'll probably just release a new southbridge with SATA3 and USB3 support.

oh sorry i guess i got there first.( if mac wants to sell it to you then i will just buy another board if he wants to just tell him that's fine i will not need the ram ) I can't really expect him to hold it for me if's it there when i go to buy then it's there. I will pm him:biggrin:
