Default Someone that knows about PSU's

Hi

I can get this Tagan TG 480-U01 from my friend for 30.. retail is 60

It has 28A on the 12V+. would it be any good for my system

Where is my SIG..?

My Specs:

Intel E2160 @3.6Ghz / Q6600 GO....Real Soon
Coolermaster GeminII with 2 x 12V 120mm 125CFM Fans
DFI Infinity P965-s Dark
EVGA 8800 GTS 320mb
2 x 1024 Memory 1066Mhz
2 x 250 WD SATA II
2 x LG DVD-RW
Antec 900 Case with 3 x 120 mm Fans 1 x 200mm Fan

You'll want a 600-watt unit unless that Tagan can run 110% load 24/7...

I know not much about power supplies, but it would seem like common sense avoid that sort of overload scenario.

yeah thats a bit too close. I'd get something Mushkin or OCZ with quad +12v rails. The gamexstream is pretty cheap if i remember correctly

I am really loving the Silverstone ST75ZF. I am running dual DDC-2's, OC'ed quad, 8800GTX, 3 HHD, 4 Sticks DDR2, DVD-RW, 2 PCI cards, a power thirsty X38, and 8 fans without a hiccup.

Best PSU I have ever run, and I payed $169 for it on NCIX
