Hmmmm, I'm surprised to see that your board only has a 4 pin CPU power connector.... I'd have thought that all current boards would have 8, but so far I haven't seen any complaints about performance so I guess it's not that big of a deal.

I'm looking at getting an x-mas upgrade that consists of the q6600 cpu + ASUS P5N32-E SLI + OCZ Platinum XTC PC2-6400 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-800

After reading some reviews, the asus board seems to be a pretty good performer with everything that one needs in a motherboard - and I'm not an ASUS fan....... but I'll be damned if I'm going to waste my money without doing some research first. I'm still not fully decided yet...

I'm going to swap those components into my "Cyclops" rig. I'm planning on going SLI with my current video card eventually so I'm hoping that the above components will bring out the full benefits of SLI.

I bought o0ne of these boards it is on the way as of today I bought it after reading this review about motherboards
Legion Hardware
I am not to sure about what they are saying who is paying them to do this in the first place. kind of like AL gore there going around the world talking about global warming and he has no scientific evidence and also he flies in an old polluter anyway until I hear from more sources I am not going to spend any more money then I need too.

With the so called test they ran it's BS, it's only going to be problem if you run the board at an FSB of 133 who in the hell today would under clock their processer to 133 FSB?

My E6400 which sits on top of a 965P-S3 is running @ 490 FSB, with a 7x multi (3.43 Ghz).

My Q6600 which sits on top of a DS3L is running @ 400 FSB, with a 9x multi (3.60 Ghz).

I never add a single problem with both Gigabyte boards, and the Dual Bios is working great.

The DFI Blood Iron board hits high FSBs with Quads... the dfi bioses are not as polished and as well maintained as those from other manufacturers, but for the price it could fit the bill !

The P5K-e is another great option.

Cheers!
