Question ASUS P7P55D Pro & 8pin EATX12 with cap

Hi I just got an Asus P7P55D Pro mobo. The-8pin EATX12V plugin has 4 of the pins covered with a plastic cover. Do I take the plastic cover off and attach the 8pin-female power connector from the PSU?

Or just use the one 4pin power connector. I just don't know. I will be overclocking both the Intel Core i5 750 Quad Core and the XFX GeForce GTX 260 vid card. Thank you.

My System Specs

Default

If your PSU has an 8 pin, take the plastic off and use the 8 pin. The cover is there in case you only have a 4 pin EPS so you know what side to plug into.

Hi all,

I'm from france, this is my config :

- i5
- P7P55D LE
- 2go RAM (2x1go)
- Ati Radeon HD4890
- Power : Corsair 650W

When I Push the start button, nothing happens, but when i unplug the EATX12 8 pins, all is powered on but the POST screen doesn't appear, normal because these pins must be plugged.

Can someone help me please?
