Well that's good news.

My only worry now is that that my motherboard will bottleneck something. It has a 1000MHz Bus. Will this bottleneck the CPU, 8800GTS, RAM etc. ? I don't really know how it works. Can you overclock the bus speed?

If you have pcie16x on the MB I doubt you would bottleneck a 8800GTS with your system as is.

Despite what people say about the AMD's X2's they perform well in recent games with 8800GTS/GTX/2900XT cards.

You can enjoy a very demanding game at higher settings with a higher end GPU+a lesser amdX2 cpu.

Crysis though at resolutions>=1600*1200 will probably not work well with a GTS.....

If you game at resolutions of 1600*1200/1050 and want frame rates over 50fps average you need to look for a better card than a GTS for demanding current/future games. .


THe GTS is a great card and im sure that people here can oc them to suit their needs but personally i think they are about to hit a brick wall with upcomming releases.
