How long did it pass Prime for? What's the voltages? How's the airflow? All that contributes to your temperatures.

yes the 212 needs xtra TIM
and need a verry slight lapping with 1000 grit

Thanks for the info all.

I think airflow is the problem... I've reseated it 5 times, using two different compounds, and they're still the same. I even added a 80mm fan, which helped a bit inside. I did some more tweaking, lowered the volts a bit, and I got it down to 72c full load. Hopefully using 72c 24/7 won't be a great deal.

I really need a new case. It's very cramped in there, lots of wires from the PSU blocking space. I even have 6 HDD's in there.
