Default can dual fan TRUE clear mosfet heatsink on Evga 3x-sli E758?

like the title states, i was wondering if i can use dual fan setup on a TRUE on the 758 mobo. the mosfet heatsink does seem a bit high ...anyone have any ideas?

It is a little high, but it will work. You'll be touching the VRM sink with at least one of your fans, depending on your orientation. One fan may be raised up by a good 1/2", which isn't a huge deal. I'm running that exact setup myself.

Mine sits on top of the VRM top fin. It's not too bad, just a slight 2mm indentation or something like that. Attaching the fan clips was living hell for me since I didn't think of doing it before securing the sink down.

I don't think you could attach the fans before mounting it because the screws would then be under the fans.

Right. Brainfart. Attaching the fan with the fan clips is a pain in the ass though. Gonna pick up a fan bracket thing on my next NCIX purchase.

I guess it depends what case you have. If there's not a lot of room between your fan and the top of the case, it's can be really hard to get the bracket on, which is what happened in my case (CM 690). If you have a Corsair 800D, you'll have no problems.
