Default XFX RMA?

I think my XFX 780i motherboard has died. It started having issues today when I was booting up. Kept getting the C1 error code. So I tried clearing the CMOS through the jumper and removing the battery. It worked for a little bit and then it just started freezing and then finally now I get the "error code FF." I have it registered with XFX but how do I go about doing an RMA? This is my first time doing one.

Log in to their Support site.

Support

Then to the right of your registered item you will see a Support ticket radio button. Click on it to start the Support process. If XFX agrees, they will issue a RMA number; you ship the board and if indeed dead, they will replace it.

I've been talking with these guys for 3 weeks now, they are very helpful.

edit: you made me look at my own ticket, to finally learn that the GPU is indeed dead.... now, let's see what they offer me.

Ok, got my board back today and I can't get it to POST either. What are the chances that they sent me a bad RMA?

Did they sent back the same board? or was it another refurbish board?

They sent me back a different board. But the way that it's acting (ie. not POSTING at all, if I remove the RAM, I don't get any beeps), it's like they took my old board, removed the serial sticker and stuck a different one on and sent it back to me.
