Is this a new board or an RMA? If it is either, I would contact evga as soon as possible and explain the situation. Including a of the damage pictured wouldn't hurt.

I would make get yourself an RMA on that right away if you bought it brand new.

RMA stands for Return Material Authorization (Basically it means that the Manufacturing Company agrees to take back a defective product.).

I would not attempt to use a MB with bent pins, period.

You could potentially damage the pins on your cpu if you were to put it into a socket with pent pins. Best bet is to do what everyone else has said and to RMA it to EVGA letting them know this is how you got it upon arrival.

Return Merchandise Authorization. Basically it is something companies do to track warranty returns to them. I would go to evga.com and set one up. You want to return this and get a new one asap. Be sure to EXPLICITLY specify that this was NEW NEVER USED straight out of the box bent pins. Usually warranties dont cover bent pins, so you might have a fight on your hands. EVGA is pritty good tho, so you're better off then if it was any other company.

For your second question: Bent pins can lead to broken pins, yes, if you try to correct them. In this case, dont try to correct them, get the RMA set up and let EVGA deal with it

Edit: Ninja'd Not once, but twice!!

If EVGA denies the RMA you can use a mechanical pencil with no lead in it and place the pin in the tip and move it. But it's risky.
