Default evga x58 vs. asus p6t deluxe v2

Hey guys,

Im in the middle of building a new gaming rig and I now need to purchase the motherboard.

I am torn between the evga x58 3 way sli and the asus p6t deluxe v2.
Newegg.com - ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Newegg.com - EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI (x16/x16/x8) LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

Which one is better in terms of gaming performance? The evga is slightly cheaper and i have heard they have great customer service and a lifetime warranty.

Please help me to decide. Thanks.

Both are great. I own the EVGA board and love it. You won't regret it. Latencies between the two are very similar. And yes EVGA support is top notch.

My philosophy:

"If it can't fit a TRUE, its probably not a good clocking board anyways."

Both Evga X58 Vanilla and Classified Boards will handle a TRUE just fine...even with 2 x 120mm (Push / Pull) arrangement..no problem!

...and "Yes"...excellent support with Evga...including BIOS releases and "Forum Support"
EVGA X58 SLI Series

I'd say its 80% of the performance for 50% of the cost.
