Talking Proud Second Time Lapper !

After Lapping a dead CPU for the first time I tried Lapping both my E8400 E0 and Thermalright True Black 120 , I think Im starting to get the hang of it ! 2hrs for CPU and about to 4.5hrs for the heatsink ! Please comment and show some Love !

Yes , I do razor test after each grit / FLAT !

Yeah I did that too... the razor cut straight into the HS! Had to start all over again :)

There is absolutely no need to go that shiny when your doing this as your just doing that to show off ;)

You could do the lap and be flat well before the shininess is showing.

Ofcourse its just for showing off ! whole concept of lapping is to make a surface smoothly flat but I just did a few more rounds to give it a polished-mirror look ;) Tell me who doesnt like owning shiny stuff ! ;)

I changed my fans during the process and I can't give you an accurate answer,
Before : CPU & True both unlapped /w 2x Ultra Kaze @ 3000 rpm Idle 39C~40C
Now : CPU & True both mirror lapped /w 2x S-Flex @1900 rpm Idle 34C~35C
you do the math yourself ! I know I can drop temperature 1~2 more degrees with screws and nuts method I just have to figure how to do it ! =/
