My new components

Well, I just got my new stuff which consists of:

Antec Nine Hundred Case (watch this video) http://www.antec.com/uk/productDetails.php?ProdID=08009
Sapphire 2600XT
Samsung SATA DVD Writer
Coolermaster GeminII

Before this my cpu would idle at 31'C on stock speed and volts and go up to 65'C on load.

Overclocked to 3.2 Ghz on 1.5 volts it idled on 39'C and went to 83'C load

Now with this new case and the geminII I am at 3.6Ghz at 1.65 Volts and idling at 28'C.. Goes up to 61'C on 100% load after 17 minutes of video editing..

I am so impressed with this case.... ANTEC all the way

yeah the nine hundred is pure pwnage. 200mm fan FTW that thing is a tornado.

Ye, all my case fans are still on low, including the 200mm top one. On the GeminII I have 2 x 120mm YS-TECH FD1238 Fans Vmodded to 7Volt.

These fans are realy powerfull, but extremely noise, as in "unbearably load".

On 12V they spin at 2800RPM and deliver 125 CFM, so I recon on 7V they spin at 1600RPM and probably give about 70 - 75 CFM....dont realy know, but the noise is MUCH better!

The 900 is such a overrated case hahaha there are cases out there that are cheaper and work way better.

Yeah whats up with all the hype about that case lol ? I think it's ugly and as for the air-flow, well, i seen better. Oh yeah theres a 200mm fan on the side... :rolleyes:

as far as the Antec 900 goes, i initially thought there would be plenty of room in there, and yeah the 200 mm fan has some appeal, along with it fitting the budget. but i gotta say, once you get everything in that case, it really isn't that roomy at all (kinda cramped really). honestly, i've been thinking about changing cases already.

LOL Thermaltake ? FTW ? What ? ... Coolermaster, Silverstone, Mountainmods, Lian-Li etc... These are all greta brands. But Thermaltake...

Unklmo, what you said has been said thousands of time about that case. Ppls buy it and get disappointed as they thought it was roomier. But it's not! It's cheap and small.

The Armor Jr is the only case I'd consider by Thermaltake. Otherwise its Coolermaster, Silverstone or Lian-Li.

And as stated its a small case with poor management and becomes a pain after you throw a few components in .

my first build, what did i know.
however, i have taken the time to manage my cables by way of the removable side panel (with a little help from Mr. Dremel) and it does make for a better/nicer job. if anything, this case has that.
