My System Specs

Default bootup complains about cpu fan on every boot
I just installed my new asus p5ql pro motherboard and since I am water cooling the CPU I am using a 3pin fan connector . now every time I boot I get the hardware component failure ( going by the beeps) on the boot screen it says that there is a fan controller failure but all fans are running and like I said I am thinking I am getting this error because of the 3pin fan plugged into the 4 pin cpu controler on the MB. is there a way I can make so it won't beep and stop until I press F1 to continue?

There's an option for "halt on" somewhere, I think it's under advanced settings. Just put "never halt on, but keyboard" I think.

Go into the bios and disable the cpu fan speed monitoring.
