My System Specs

Default

Reseat your heatsink, like the very first person suggested. Try it. You dont have anything to lose, do you?

Abnormal temps are almost always heatsink related. Sometimes remounting your HS can drop temps anywhere from 1-10 degrees. Ive seen it first hand. Dont just throw the suggestion out because it 'seems secure'.

Or...it could be too much/little thermal compound? If that doesnt work, a bios flash may solve it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a few degrees improvement over time as the compound cures. Even some of the "no-cure" compounds like MX-2 definitely cure over the course of a week or two.

Is your computer shutting itself off or showing instabilities?

If not: who cares about a few degrees?

No its actually COMLETELY stable like its 24 hours prime stable and 12 hours occt stable (tool azy to test it for more in occt) (prime95 was tested with blend)
But yeah I idle at like 38-40C and load at liek 60-67C and I rarely hit 70C I mostly load at like 62C though. Im really counting on my thermal paste to be liek having a "cure time" but the ncix member reviews on MX 2 say that there isnt a cure time, but if I remember correctly, last time when my build was open air it started off with high temperatures and then after a week or so the temps went down. Anyways, Im sure counting on that. It could also be the fact that I now have a case, but that doesnt seem right because my case seems to have quite good airflow by the looks of it (antec 1200 with stock 5x 120mm and 1x 200mm and I also added a 120mm yate on the side as intake and another 120mm yate on the middle hdd cage as an intake.

I'm still trying to figure out why you care so much. Unless your REALLY pushing your chip, a few degrees here and there do not matter. AT ALL.

Its actually completely stable (24hours prime stable blend) and like Im really counting on the thermal pastes "cure-time" if there even is any... :( I have read over the ncix member comments on the mx 2 thermal paste which is what i used and unfortuneatly people have been sayingt aht they is no cure time but I still have a bit of hope because before I had my case and i was running my comp open air, i first got not as good temps but then after a week or so i started getting leik 36 idle and like 56 load but now when I have my case im getting like 38-40c idle and 60-67c load but mostly around 65c load. But its strange because my case has decent cooling by the looks of it (antec 1200 plus 2 additional yate loon 120mm intakes) so Im quite confused.
